Our Story Values

What Guides Our Life Together

Word.

We gather around Scripture and the promise of grace in Christ. God’s Word shapes our worship, teaching, and daily life as we learn, pray, and grow together.

Worship.

Sunday worship is the heart of our week—hearing the Gospel, receiving God’s gifts, and being renewed for life beyond the church doors in our community.

Serve.

Faith becomes visible through love of neighbor. We look for practical ways to help—welcoming newcomers, caring for one another, and serving our local community.

Belong.

No one is meant to walk alone. We value a church family where questions are welcome, relationships are built, and every person has a place to be known.

The People Who Serve Peace

Pastoral leaders and dedicated volunteers who help our church worship, learn, and care for our neighbors.

Pastor Jordan Miller

Pastor

Pastor Jordan serves Peace Lutheran with a steady focus on Scripture, grace, and compassionate care. On Sundays, Jordan leads worship and preaching; during the week, you’ll often find him visiting members, welcoming newcomers, and partnering with local ministries. He’s passionate about building a church where questions are safe, community is real, and everyone is invited to grow in faith.

Casey Thompson

Church Administrator

Casey keeps the day-to-day work of Peace Lutheran running smoothly—from answering calls and scheduling meetings to coordinating announcements and Sunday bulletins. With a calm, can-do approach, Casey is often the first point of contact for visitors and members alike. If you’re not sure who to ask, start here—you’ll be greeted with kindness and guided to the right place.

Renee Alvarez

Music & Worship Coordinator

Renee supports congregational singing and helps plan worship that is welcoming, reverent, and joyful. Whether coordinating musicians, selecting hymns, or working with volunteers, Renee’s heart is to help the church participate fully in worship. She loves blending familiar Lutheran hymnody with simple, singable music that invites every voice to join in.

Deacon Sam Park

Care & Volunteer Coordinator

Sam helps connect people to caring support and meaningful ways to serve—meals, rides, visitation, and community outreach. With a gift for listening, Sam works alongside volunteers to make sure no one feels alone during difficult seasons and that every helping hand is valued. If you’re looking for a place to plug in, Sam will help you find a good fit.
